RECHARGE EUROPE

The European Forum Alpbach 2025 will take place from 16 to 29 August 2025 under the annual theme 'Recharge Europe'.

The European Forum Alpbach unites scholars, scientists, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society actors with young people from Europe and beyond to shape a stronger Europe for the good of all.

EFA25 Focus

2025 is a year of reflection – and of new beginnings. Historical milestones such as the end of World War II 80 years ago, the Helsinki Accords 50 years ago, and Austria's EU accession 30 years ago provide the framework for a look back – and a look forward.

EFA25 aims to aims to provide answers to central questions:

  • How does Europe defend its values – politically, militarily, and socially?
  • How can Europe assert itself in global competition?
  • And in what ways can a just, sustainable, and innovative future be financed?
