As a regular visitor of our website, no personal data is processed. Consent
Consent to the processing of your data is given in the course of registration for the event European Forum Alpbach via an online ticketing system. You can revoke this consent at any time. We process data (on the basis of Art 6 Para 1 lit a GDPR for the fulfilment of the event contract, or Art 6 Para 1 lit b GDPR with consent) for the following purposes: Support of participants and contributors or experts; accounting; travel and room organization; maintenance of business relations; admission control; mailings to inform about future events and activities; historical interest.
Photo and video coverage of the event
The controller may take photos and videos of the data subject in the context of events on which people are depicted. The controller and its official event partners may use these photos and videos to inform about the event on the basis of legitimate interests and publish them in social media as well as on websites and in mailings (internationally accessible) and in print media. The coverage includes recordings of online content (e.g. live streams) produced during online events. The legitimate interests of the controller and its official partners consist in informing a broad public about the event that has taken place.
Mailings
In order to inform about future activities and events of the association and the European Forum Alpbach non-profit private foundation, data subjects will receive mailings (e-mail, postal). Data subjects agree to receive mailings throughout the year about the European Forum Alpbach and other events organised directly by the European Forum Alpbach by subscribing via www.alpbach.org. Affected persons can revoke their consent to receive mailings (by post or by e-mail to datenschutz@alpbach.org) at any time.
Duration of storage

Swapcard is a data processor of the European Forum Alpbach and serves as a service and networking platform within the framework of the European Forum Alpbach event. The contact information of the participants of the European Forum Alpbach event is forwarded to Swapcard in order to enable the use of the platform. Participants who register on the Swapcard platform agree to the General Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Swapcard as data processor (see General Terms & Conditions | Swapcard and Privacy Policy | Swapcard).
Information on legal remedies
You are entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transferability and objection. For this purpose, please contact us (datenschutz@alpbach.org). If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
