At the age of 19, she became the youngest Member of the German Parliament ever. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s degrees from Ahfad University in Sudan and HU Berlin. After completing her doctorate in Political Science, focused on democracy promotion, she worked at the University of Gothenburg.
