He is Tyrolean, father of two children, and agriculture is in his blood: As Minister of Agriculture, Totschnig is the strong voice for our farmers. The Federal Minister grew up with six brothers and sisters on a farm in Eastern Tyrol and has 20 years of experience in federal and agricultural policy. He reconciles economic, ecological and socio-political interests. His work in the field of politics has been characterised by a future-oriented and balancing attitude for 20 years.
